Metamorphosis Through Decay [Act I: Undecided Fate] (2010)
Audiological MSG/TheMSG.net Records

In 2010, after a couple years of working hard on Other People's Children, Doug Ware (aka. Musika Assassinam) decided it was time to start working on the follow up to his first album, Invisible Escapegoats. Taking a slight different direction this time, while still keeping his original idealism of what electronic music should be, he began laying tracks down to what would be the start of a three part concept album entitled Metamorphosis Through Decay. Each part of the album is meant to carry a different mood and atmosphere to it, relating in the emotions one feels while making changes in their life - both good and bad. The first release, Act I: Undecided Fate, shares moments of extreme stress and anxiety contrasted with melodic tones and familiar samples. It is made to represent the path taken prior to making change, the denial one faces, and change's beginning processes. Using many different methods of production that weren't used on Invisible Escapegoats, as well as many that were; this album definitely represents Musika Assassinam's growth as a barrier-breaker in modern electronic music. As they are released, each album will be available for download on this site FOR FREE!!

Musika Assassinam - Invisible Escapegoats

Invisible Escapegoats EP (2008)
Audiological MSG/TheMSG.net Records

Musika Assassinam is the name of singer/songwriter Doug Ware's experimental-ambient-electronica project. Started in 2007 as kind of a joke and out of pure boredom, it wasn't long before he started taking it seriously. Not being a big fan of modern electronic music, he set out to make this project something unique as well as something that could be enjoyed even if you weren't into the electronic genre. Invisible Escapegoats is the first product of this concept, crossing elements of jazz and hip-hop with aspects of noise and industrial to create a strange melody that you can't help but bob your head to. This album was completely self produced and released through his private record label, Audiological MSG/TheMSG.net Records, in the summer of 2008. Download the album now for FREE below!!!
